Lakeside Lumber Company — Ashby, MN
Project: Full website rebuild, SEO foundation, AI visibility optimization
What they needed: Lakeside Lumber was running a Wix site with no SEO, no schema markup, and no meta descriptions. Their online presence was minimal and they were not showing up where it mattered.
What we did:
Built a custom WordPress theme from scratch with proper heading hierarchy, image optimization, and fast load times. Implemented LocalBusiness schema with per-community areaServed data covering a 70-mile radius. Created an llms.txt file for AI engine access. Set up FAQ schema, review schema with real Google reviews, and OG tags for social sharing. Built 10 community landing pages targeting surrounding towns like Fergus Falls, Alexandria, Battle Lake, and Pelican Rapids. Installed and configured SSL certificates. Set up proper redirects from the old Wix URLs.
Results: Site went from completely unindexed to showing up in Google search results within days. Full schema validation passing. AI visibility audit score jumped from under 20% to over 85%. The site now serves as a local resource hub driving organic traffic from surrounding communities.
